Conventional Course- Recommended for the average new driver.

  • Includes basic classroom instruction plus additional behind-the-wheel training
  • 30 hours in class
  • 4 hours state of the art driving simulation

Basic Course- For those seeking to gain the basics of safe driving.

  • Classroom instruction and behind the wheel training to meet your state’s basic requirements
  • 30 hours in class
  • 4 hours state of the art driving simulation
  • 5 hours of driving
  • 5 hours of driving observation

WA Teen Drivers Safety Education & Certification (Advanced)

Advanced Course- Recommended for the driver needing a little more practice.

  • Includes basic classroom instruction with additional time behind-the-wheel-training
  • 30 hours in class
  • 4 hours state of the art driving simulation
  • 7 hours of driving
  • 7 hours of driving observation

Testing Prerequisites

In Order To Take The Written Knowledge Test, You Must Have A Form Of Picture Id. Acceptable Id:

A Washington State Permit

ID Card

Driver’s License That Is Valid Or Expired Within One Year

Valid Military ID

A Current

Valid U. S. Passport

We Will Also Accept An Out‑of‑state Driver’s License, Permit, Or ID Card, Valid Or Expired Within 60 Days, That Includes Your Photo And Date Of Birth.

Applicants Under 18 Years Of Age Who Do Not Have One Of The Above-Listed Documents Must Have A Certified Birth Certificate And A Student Body Card Issued By A School District. If You Don’t Have A School-Issued Student Body Card, You Can Bring In An Annual With Your Photo In It. If You Have Any Questions About What Is Required, Please Give Us A Call.

Additional Details About the Course

Lakewood High School is allowing us to teach their students on campus and we are so proud. The core of 911 Driving Schools is that we are owned & operated by Police Officers and for our location we have more than 30 years’ experience. Everyone we hire brings their own experiences and subject matter expertise on traffic safety to our school. Our instructors are a diverse collection of professional individuals who have worked in many fields including first responders, veterans, police, and fire services making this the finest Drivers Education program in the nation. But we aren’t just emergency responders, we are parents too. We bring experiences from our personal lives, our kids learned to drive here so the level of education and professionalism matters to us not just as owners and employees, but as parents.
