Bellingham 911 Driving School – Drivers Education Instructed by Law Enforcement
911 Driving School of Bellingham is owned and operated by local, active-duty police officers with nearly 45 years of experience. This means you can learn directly from the people who have first-hand knowledge of the importance of skilled, defensive driving.
Our instructors are both active duty and retired law enforcement, and everyone brings their years of experience with emergency driving and traffic safety to the classroom where they work to create an invaluable learning environment for students of all ages.
Drivers Education for Teens:
Now Offering Web-Based, Instructor-taught Classroom Sessions.
Classes at our physical locations are temporarily suspended for the safety of our students, staff and community, however, we will continue teaching the 30 hours of teen classroom drivers’ education and 4 hours of Driver-Zed through a web based, instructor-led classroom via Zoom until the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
These web-based training classes will count towards the state-required classroom sessions.
Building a Foundation of Defensive Driving Skills
Our coursework is designed to help students get the best start possible and build a foundation on safe driving techniques.
Students will participate in a fun and engaging learning environment, and our instructors know how to help new drivers quickly absorb the necessary information and develop the most effective skills to avoid collisions and deal with a wide range of unexpected road conditions.

As a teen, getting a driver’s license can be an extremely exciting time. It’s a sign of newly acquired independence (and some new responsibilities) and they can’t wait to get out on the road.
We want to make sure they’re as safe as possible when they’re behind the wheel.
