Bellevue 911 Driving School & DOL Approved License Testing Center

You can receive your driver’s education from experienced police officers who are specially qualified to train adult and teen drivers for a lifetime of safe driving.

911 Driving School of Bellevue is owned and operated by two retired Bothell police officers who have more than 35 years of experience in law enforcement. We teach today’s teens and adults how to become tomorrow’s safest drivers, making the roadways a safer place for everyone.

What Makes Us Different?

Our instructors are the cornerstone of our driving program. Here, we only hire the very best police officers to provide instruction for our students and observe their progress. These officers have seen it all, and they bring their unique experiences to our professional driving school to help every student really understand the importance of defensive driving.  .

At 911 Driving School, we have proven time and again how an instructor with a law enforcement background can provide the knowledge and build the trust that is necessary for an effective and successful learning environment.

These instructors – and all their stories and experiences – really make the 911 program different.

Happy 2021!  We are open!

The health and safety of our students, their families and our employees is our top priority.  We are taking several precautions in addition to local, State and Federal mandates to ensure our customers and staff stay safe and healthy.

  • Staff and Customers are required to wear a mask at all times
  • Examinations or training will not be provided to a student if exhibiting symptoms of illness
  • Social distancing of at least 6′ must be observed
  • Our lobby will be limited to five customers.  Friends or family will have to wait in their vehicles or socially distanced outside
  • Hand sanitizer be will provided in the lobby and classroom.  Hand soap and hot water are available in the restroom

TEENS: Now Offering Web Based-Instructor Led Classroom Sessions!  We will continue teaching the 30 hours of teen classroom drivers education and 4 hours of Driver-Zed through a web based, instructor led classroom via Zoom until Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.  Web based training classes will count towards the state required classroom sessions.  Classes at our physical locations are temporarily suspended for the safety of our students, staff and our communities.

Teen Drives are now available!  Cars will be wiped down between every student, instructors will wear gloves, instructors and customers must wear masks, and windows must be kept rolled down enough to allow airflow.  It is not required that drives be done at this time if you are not comfortable.

Teen Observations are temporarily suspended by DOL and not required to get a course completion.

Course deadlines will be extended as necessary to get everyone completed, and there is no limit to the number of make-up classes that may be done.  Make-ups must be scheduled and may be done via Zoom classes or video in our location.
