1 Hour Driving Assessment by a Licensed Driving Instructor. Valid Washington State Driver's License or Department of Licensing issued Temporary Authorization to Drive required.
Our assessments are designed to evaluate driving skills and habits. The assessment is typically used for people that already have a driver's license but might have concerns about their driving ability. This concern can come from family members, a medical professional, or the individual themselves. Either due to a change in health or possible habits that simply develop over time like we all have.
This is NOT a test to get a driver's license.

Private Drives
Client will work one-on-one with an instructor in our vehicle. Clients can customize private drives to meet their goals.
911 Driving School, an exclusive driver’s education company that hires only the finest instructors, have geared up to offer anyone fifty-five years and older the opportunity to attend Street Survival: A State Approved Driver Refresher Course. Street Survival will teach you about current rules of the road, how to adjust to environmental and age related changes, and in general, you will develop the knowledge necessary to drive safer. 911’s instructors will educate you on: maintaining proper following distance, safely changing lanes and making turns, the effects of medications on driving. minimizing the effect of dangerous blind spots, limiting driver distractions such as; eating, smoking, and cell phone use. Properly using safety belts, air bags, and anti-lock brakes and monitoring your own, and others’, driving skills and capabilities. In addition, the Washington Office of Insurance Commissioner website states that auto insurance companies throughout Washington state provide a multi-year discount to individuals who have attended driver refresher courses.

Testing Prerequisites
In Order To Take The Written Knowledge Test, You Must Have A Form Of Picture Id. Acceptable Id:
A Washington State Permit
ID Card
Driver’s License That Is Valid Or Expired Within One Year
Valid Military ID
A Current
Valid U. S. Passport
We Will Also Accept An Out‑of‑state Driver’s License, Permit, Or ID Card, Valid Or Expired Within 60 Days, That Includes Your Photo And Date Of Birth.
Applicants Under 18 Years Of Age Who Do Not Have One Of The Above-Listed Documents Must Have A Certified Birth Certificate And A Student Body Card Issued By A School District. If You Don’t Have A School-Issued Student Body Card, You Can Bring In An Annual With Your Photo In It. If You Have Any Questions About What Is Required, Please Give Us A Call.

Knowledge Test dates and times are listed under state testing. Drive tests will be scheduled over phone by calling our main office (509)324-0911.

Keep checking for availability each morning Monday through Friday. As movement occurs in a class and/or we find we have more instructor staffing hours, seats may be increased. This occurs in the mornings.
